Dusty is joining the National Guard. He goes in for MEPS (his physical and stuff) on March 9th and they'll tell us then when he leaves for basic training. Believe it or not, I'm kind of excited. The whole being without a husband for 4 months is really going to stink but Dusty will get all his schooling paid for and we get health insurance and job placement assistance, and lots of other nice perks.
Brian turns three next week- April gave me the idea for a dinosaur cake. good one eh? We'll see if I pull it off. Maybe I'll do "Dragon Warrior" instead (He loves that movie).
Samantha is trying SO hard to walk. In fact when you go to sit her down on the floor, she just falls over because she won't bend her legs to sit down. She's a silly one.
Both are already in bed AND asleep! A miracle!!!
I'm currently involved in this weight loss contest so hopefully the pounds will keep coming off or I am going to be even poorer than a poor school teacher.
The temperature was actually above freezing today so hopefully Spring is on its way.
Garden or no Garden?

GARDEN! I'm hoping to have a garden this year. Tell Dusty good luck for us! You can always come visit us when you're lonely. Wow, 3?! That's exciting.

I hope you are going to blog again & tell us where Dusty is going and when. Kierstin & family are here for 2 weeks since it is spring break in Alaska. We are having fun. Spent 2 days at Disneyland and Brian came over as well. We had a great time. Kevin has been in Iraq for 3 1/2 months so they have kind of adjusted to life as it is now. He calls often and skypes, too, so they stay quite connected. We enjoy checking out your blog from time to time. Tell everyone "hello."

I love that you love daisies so much! We did our first garden last year... its a lot of work but fun. Kaden had a blast doing it with us. And it was so nice to have fresh corn! MMMMMM...

Always opt for the learning experiment. GARDEN. We did one and that has been so much fun for both Ben and Lydia. They are learning patience, and responsibility, i think. We more likely than not won't get anything, but oh well. At least I can say we tried our best. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! Happy birthday Mel in a few days.
